The emergency power supply for centralized power supply is the power supply for evacuation lighting or other urgently needed electrical equipment in fire or other emergencies. It can be seen from its power supply purpose that the emergency power supply should meet the following specific requirements.

(1) High reliability. High reliability means that the power supply can supply power reliably in emergency. The primary purpose of power supply is to ensure power supply. As long as components can operate without damage, power supply cannot be stopped. Of course, the working state of the components at this time may be quite harsh, and some electrical parameters of the power supply (such as frequency and harmonic rate) may not be ideal under special conditions. However, as long as the electrical load can work under these parameter conditions, the power supply cannot stop supplying power.

(2) Monitorability. Although the emergency power supply is used in special occasions (power failure, fire, etc.), the emergency diesel generator set should also be tested regularly. Especially for emergency static uninterruptible power supply: first, use its own RS232 interface to send the signal to the host computer for monitoring; Second, for normal loads, emergency power can be used to supply power at ordinary times, which is the best monitoring.

(3) Maintenance free. Maintenance free performance in the device is shown in three aspects: first, the battery charging and discharging is completed by using the intelligent integrated chip of the device; Second, maintenance free batteries are used; Third, the equipment can send out a status warning signal.

(4) The system is simple and easy to control. The electrical engineering design of buildings shows that in a specific fire protection object, the type of emergency power supply is not single, and the combination scheme of several power supplies is adopted. Its power supply range and capacity are generally determined by building load grade, power supply quality, emergency load quantity and distribution, load characteristics and other factors.
