5. Installation & Operating Instructions
Professional Installation Required: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician. Always turn off main power before wiring.
Continuous Charging Line: The charging live line (TL) and neutral line (N) must be connected directly to the unswitched main power grid. No wall switch or sensor is allowed on the emergency charging circuit.
Wall Switch Operation: Wall switches only control regular daily lighting and do not affect the emergency backup function. Switch live line (SL) and charging live line (TL) must be on the same electrical phase.
Initial Setup & Maintenance: Connect the LED load and fully charge the unit before first use. To maintain peak battery health, perform a full discharge and recharge cycle every 3 months.
